Setting
The place
An old chapel, put back on its feet without ever being fully restored. Amplifiers beneath the arches, a drum kit where others might have put silence, and a band that would rather search than reproduce.
Novel
When music leaves the studio and starts changing the world around it.
Music begins when someone agrees to be moved.
An abandoned chapel, amps beneath stone arches, a bass line that pulls people off balance. HARMONY is born from listening, but the novel follows the wider wave: bodies, loyalties, institutions and the forms of power that music unsettles.
Resonance begins in sound: silences, rehearsals, musicians learning to answer one another differently. Little by little, that wave leaves the studio and exposes a society obsessed with measurement, control and traces.
I created the RomanSon: a novel in which every chapter extends into an original song and the imagery of its video. Résonance is the first RomanSon. The tracks and their videos are gathered here as they are released.
Originally written in French and available here in French, English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese.

Novel
Setting
An old chapel, put back on its feet without ever being fully restored. Amplifiers beneath the arches, a drum kit where others might have put silence, and a band that would rather search than reproduce.
Gesture
Here, improvising does not mean doing whatever comes to mind. It means listening closely enough to let an idea move you before you know where it leads.
Disturbance
Through sustained listening, some patterns cease to remain musical. They pass elsewhere: into words, decisions, games and relationships.
A room that answers before anyone knows what to ask of it.
Musicians trying not to replay their own comfort.
What begins to answer elsewhere, without warning.
The moment listening ceases to be innocent.
Materials
Not as decoration, but as a way of thinking: responding, taking something up, making room, not crushing what arrives.
The book follows that fragile moment when listening becomes a force, then a responsibility.
What connects two things can sometimes become more real than the elements it brings together.
Enter
Resonance begins in a tangible place: an imperfect room, a band, habits of playing, discussions, disagreements and a very human way of searching together.
Then the novel lets a question slowly take shape: what does listening really mean when what we hear begins to transform what we decide?

The dedicated site opens the wider fictional world of Pab San: stories of thresholds, memory and power, where intimate lives meet the systems around them.
